Pavones Pickleball

Empty indoor tennis court with a wooden roof and scenic outdoor view.

Our Courts

Pavones Pickleball has two courts- located under cover, on a slab that measures 24 meters (79 feet) by 20 meters (66 feet). Needless to say, there is PLENTY of space around each court!

The Acrytech sports coating offers the perfect blend of grip, agility and pleasing aesthetics - for a WOW factor and epic play experience.

The roof provides welcome shade, with fresh cross-ventilation, and protection from the rain.

The court side coffee shop “Pa’ Pedir Cacao” is a great place to grab gear, a healthy snack, coffee, and book your next court time!

Fun Fact- “pedir cacao” is a saying that basically means to ask forgiveness, make amends, and set things straight. Pa’ Pedir Cacao - for a fresh start!

House rules

We are all about fun, community involvement, and a relaxed atmosphere.

(a.k.a. How We Roll in Paradise)

    1️⃣ Play Hard. Laugh Often.
We’re here for good games and good vibes — competitiveness welcome, egos not so much.

2️⃣ Fair Calls & Honest Eyes.
Call your lines with integrity. If it’s close, give it to your opponent — karma’s watching. 😉

    3️⃣ Respect the Flow.
Rotate fairly, share courts kindly, and help new players feel included.

    4️⃣ No Drama, No Divas.
Life’s too short for arguments or attitudes. If you can’t reset with a smile, take a sip of water and try again.

5️⃣ Bring Your Water, Leave No Waste.
Hydrate well, resusable bottles- and tidy up your trash.

    6️⃣ Keep It Real.
Play old-school — pre-political correctness. Roll with it.

    7️⃣ Encourage, Don’t Criticize.
Cheer for great shots — yours and theirs. A positive word changes the whole match.

    8️⃣ Clean shoes please
Yes, it’s the jungle but keep the mud off the courts please.

9️⃣ Go With the Pura Vida Flow.
Weather, bugs, power, schedules… it’s Costa Rica, baby. Roll with it.

    🔟 Community First.
Treat these courts like they’re yours — because they are. Respect the space, each other, and the spirit of play that brought us here.
